What we do

We work one-to-one with clients’ senior managers in a close working relationship to establish project aims, objectives and challenges, so that we can deliver exactly what you need, within your budget.

We understand your business because it’s our business, too, and we appreciate the realities of deadlines and budgets.

Our client list includes large corporations such as Macmillan, OUP, English360 and Pearson, government organisations (including the European Commission) and smaller publishers such as CILT and Teachitworld.

Every project is different, but here are a couple of examples of what we have done for past clients.

Your project may not be quite like these, but a quick call or mail could establish how our experience might help you.

Macmillan English Campus (Macmillan Publishers)
Macmillan English Campus is an online learning environment for blended learning. Byron Russell was appointed initially for a twelve month period to interim manage all sales and marketing operations. He continued to supply sales support and strategic advice and support to the project until 2010. Macmillan English Campus has drawn up and closed agreements with major international school chains and government organisations, making the it the leading player in the field.

Amici (Oxford University Press)
OUP’s educational division needed a project manager for a new Italian course, Amici, aimed at the 16+ market. Deborah Manning worked with OUP to publish three printed components and listening material, liaising directly with the authors and managing freelance editors at all stages. An important consideration was to use up-to-date authentic realia and photographs, which entailed close co-operation with OUP’s in-house design department, who were responsible for delivering the print-ready disks. We attended recording sessions and checked all final material ourselves, with the course publishing on schedule. In the first year of use, teachers reported high levels of satisfaction with the course, as much as with its stimulating content as its excellent editorial standards.
