What we do

We work one-to-one with our clients’ senior managers to establish project aims, objectives and challenges, so that we can deliver exactly what you need, within your budget and to agreed timeframes.

We understand your business because it’s our business, too, and we fully appreciate the realities of deadlines and budgets.

Our client list includes large corporations such as Macmillan, Cengage and Pearson, government organisations (including the European Commission) and smaller publishers such as CILT and Teachitworld.

We package new ELT and language teaching products. We project-manage new titles, and version existing products for new markets. And we can look at your business, research and identify gaps and put together strategic plans for new products (especially digital).

Every project is different, but here are a couple of examples of what we have done for past clients. Your project may not be quite like these, but a quick call or mail could establish how our extensive experience might help you.

Your world is our world

English360
English360 is an online learning environment for blended learning, and is the first and only product of its kind to incorporate an advanced learning management system with easy-to-use authoring tools and content from a variety of publishers (including Harper-Collins and CUP) and independent writers. Byron Russell was appointed in 2010 to interim head all sales and marketing operations, and drew up both the sales and marketing strategies and contractual terms currently in use. English360 has drawn up and closed agreements with major international school chains and corporations, and is universally acknowledged as a leader in its field.

Amici (Oxford University Press)
OUP’s educational division took us on to project manage their Italian course, Amici, aimed at the 16+ market. Our Editorial Director Deborah Manning worked personally with OUP to publish three printed components and listening material, liaising directly with the authors and managing a team of freelance editors at all stages. An important consideration was to use up-to-date authentic realia and photographs, which entailed close co-operation with OUP’s in-house design department, who were responsible for delivering the print-ready disks. We attended recording sessions and checked all final material ourselves, with the course publishing on schedule. In the first year of use, teachers reported high levels of satisfaction with the course, as much as with its stimulating content as its excellent editorial standards.
